The Business Edge ERP

Business Edge ERP is part of a range of products offered by Illinois-based Computer Insights to support the manufacture and distribution of fastening equipment. Since 1997, Computer Insights has refined The Business Edge ERP to serve the fastening sector, and today it supports manufacturers and distributors across North America with both software and consulting services.

The platform connects with supplier Brighton-Best, as well as enabling data and document conversion and connection. Out of the box, The Business Edge ERP integrates with key suppliers like Brighton-Best and automates data and document conversion between legacy systems. It offers ISO-compliant processes, including Marathon credit card integration via Clover Connect and vendor-managed inventory.

The wireless warehouse module and container management system streamline receiving and allocation. The software includes a general ledger, quote and order system, inventory management, delivery, internal sales and accounting reports, counter sales, and smart file maintenance. Add-ons include a built-in CRM, Avalara-certified sales-tax automation, and RESTful APIs for real-time price and order updates. A mobile VMI app with signature capture gives control directly on the warehouse floor.
