Deltek adds integrated talent management to ERP solutions

Business software provider Deltek has announced a new management software suite, Deltek Talent Management, which integrates with its ERP software.

Deltek made the announcement at this week’s 2015 HR Tech Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The solution is intended for tasks such as managing recruitment, performance reviews, and succession planning.

The Virginia-based company develops software solutions for several different industries including engineering, aerospace, and architecture.

ERP integration

Deltek ERP solutions will integrate fully with the new Deltek Talent Management suite, which automates the registration of new employees and manages role assignments, times and expenses, and benefits.

The integration of the two suites will allow companies to process pre and post hire stages of employee management through one solution.

“People are the most important asset for our customers and having the ability to forecast needs, identify candidates, hire, retain and develop top talent is a major focus for them” - Namita Dhallan, executive VP of product strategy and engineering, Deltek

Deltek says the new solution builds on the technology it acquired in March with the purchase of Texas talent management services provider HRsmart.

Winning the war for talent

This new solution is scalable for growing companies and features a redesigned user interface. Deltek have also optimized their software for greater ease of use with mobile devices so users can switch seamlessly from desktop to mobile.

“Providing our global customers a strategic solution to win the war for talent has been a key driver for Deltek’s product strategy,” said Namita Dhallan, executive VP of product strategy and engineering at Deltek.

“People are the most important asset for our customers and having the ability to forecast needs, identify candidates, hire, retain and develop top talent is a major focus for them,” he added.

Since its acquisition of HRsmart, Deltek has been growing its global operations. It also acquired the talent management software firm Sohnar in March and recently partnered with Silversoft for the distribution of its ERP products in South Africa as well as expanding its client base in Africa and the Middle East.
