3i Infotech Ltd, established in 1993, is a Mumbai-based, global IT services company specializing in digital transformation, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and ERP, specifically Oracle solutions.

It serves sectors like banking, insurance, and government with Application, Automation, and Analytics (AAA) services.

Transition to managed services

Azentio Software (owned by Apax Funds) acquired 3i Infotech’s software product business in 2020 for ~INR 10 billion ($136 million).

The Orion™ ERP software, formerly under 3i Infotech, is now a key component of Azentio ERP, which includes Orion Distribution Cloud, Orion Contracting Cloud, and Orion Financial Cloud.

Azentio, the Singapore-based company (incorporated in 2020), provides vertical-specific products for banking and insurance. It was created by carving out software products from 3i Infotech, Candela Labs, and the latter acquired Path Solutions.
