Bizowie Cloud ERP provides a full suite of functionality for middle-market manufacturers, distributors, and online retailers. It covers the full operational picture from inventory and order management to purchasing, finance, warehousing, production, and HR.
The solution is often shortlisted by:
- Wholesale distributors running multi-warehouse operations with high order volumes
- Manufacturers working in make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, or process environments (including hybrid combinations)
- Companies in adjacent sectors, including food and beverage, apparel, import/export, online retail, and publishing
Core functionality
- Financial management: Bizowie's financial module handles GAAP and IFRS-compliant accounting, including a general ledger built to process high transaction volumes in real time. Standard modules cover accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset management. The system supports multi-entity, multi-currency, and complex organisational structures. Routine tasks like recurring entries, payment runs, and internal approvals can also be automated.
- Order management: The system handles quote-to-cash from a single workflow rather than requiring staff to move between tools to complete a sale. Order routing is handled automatically based on rules you define. Backorder management, drop shipment, and special order workflows are built in rather than bolted on. Reporting on sales revenue and margin runs across a wide range of dimensions, which gives sales managers the information they need to spot where deals are profitable and where they aren't.
- CRM: Sales teams get a unified view of accounts that combines CRM data with live operational data: open orders, payment history, and inventory availability. Managers can track pipelines and activities without leaving the system. Mobile access is available for reps working in the field.
- Inventory control: The inventory module handles environments with hundreds of distribution centres and millions of SKUs. Items can be tracked by lot number, serial number, or expiration date, giving businesses in regulated industries full chain-of-custody traceability. Stock movements update in real time, which means the numbers a buyer or CSR sees reflect what's actually in the warehouse rather than what was there at the last batch sync.
- Supply chain and purchasing: The procure-to-pay workflow covers requisitions, purchase orders, confirmation, inbound tracking, and warehouse receiving. For businesses with international supply chains, the system handles inbound container management, landed cost calculations (both direct and indirect), and cubic/weight-based import calculations. Sales teams get visibility into inbound inventory so they can give customers accurate lead times, while Operations teams can see upcoming outbound demand before it becomes urgent.
- Shipping: Bizowie includes outbound shipping management without requiring a separate third-party shipping platform. It handles carrier rate shopping, pick and pack tracking, carrier pickup scheduling, and route delivery planning. Integration with major US and Canadian small-package carriers comes out of the box. EDI connections cover LTL, FTL, and freight brokerage relationships.
-
HR: The HR module covers employee and contractor records, scheduling, timesheets, and expense reporting. It's not a full HRMS, but it covers the day-to-day HR tasks that most operations teams need. The collaboration module functions as an internal knowledge base for SOPs, employee manuals, quality documentation, and meeting notes.
- Estimation: Estimators can build quotes using labour, materials, third-party services, and fees. Bills of materials support up to 1,000+ levels of nesting. Standard and custom markups can be applied, and custom-printed documents allow you to control how much cost and detail goes to the customer. When a deal closes, transitioning the estimate to a sales order is a direct step rather than a re-entry exercise.
- Work order management: Work orders can be created automatically from sales orders and planned demand, or manually by production planners. The system tracks multi-level subassemblies and creates dependent work orders automatically when parent orders are released. Labour and machine time post directly to the work order, so actual production costs reflect what the job consumed rather than a standard cost assumption. Lot and serial number traceability runs through the full production process, from material pick to finished goods.
- Planning and scheduling: Capacity planning supports finite, infinite, and mixed scheduling approaches. Orders can be scheduled forward or backward based on due date and capacity, and a work centre dashboard gives planners a live picture of what's in process. MRP generates purchasing requirements and shortage alerts so materials can be sourced before they hold up production. The scheduler accommodates holidays, overtime, and shift variations through configurable overrides.
