ERP Software Writers’ Awards 2014: Nominations Open

The ERP Software Writers’ Awards recognize and celebrate the most insightful ERP writing during 2014. Featuring a broad spectrum of authors – from writers of small blogs through to industry analysts - the awards shine a light on the most notable contributions of the year in the world of ERP software.

Hosted by ERP Focus, the ERP Writers’ Awards are open to anyone who has written on the topic of ERP software in 2014. You can nominate yourself or others and we welcome all forms of written publication including articles, blog posts and reviews.

Head Judge Louis Columbus says "The ERP Software Writers' Awards recognize those who push beyond the boundaries and constraints of what ERP systems are doing today, providing valuable analysis, insights and intelligence into how enterprises can achieve their objectives more efficiently than before. These analysts and writers are providing invaluable perspective on how enterprises can scale beyond the constraints of their existing systems and excel at entirely new business models.

Now in its second year the ERP Writers’ Awards focus on four categories:

  • Best Writer
  • Best Article
  • Best Independent Blog
  • Best Vendor Blog.

Nominations close on Friday 12th December with the winners being announced on Friday 19th December.

To qualify for the awards an article should be published online and be in the public domain. If you have an unpublished article you wish to nominate, please submit your work to ERP Focus and we will happily consider it for publication on our website.

The Judges

The judges looking for insight, originality and accuracy in the 2014 ERP Writers’ Awards are:

Louis Columbus - Vice President, Marketing at iBASEt, Forbes contributor and Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Program at Webster University. Louis has over two decades of experience in the enterprise software industry and is a member of Enterprise Irregulars. His background includes marketing, product management, sales and industry analyst roles in the enterprise software and IT industries

Tom Miller - An ERP software writer with hundreds of published articles to his name, Tom comes with 15+ years experience as an ERP project manager. Tom writes about a broad range of topics including strategy, supply chain and manufacturing.

Rick Carlton - A tech journalist, writer, researcher, editor and publisher for many years; Rick is the newest addition to the judging panel for this years ERP Software Writers’ Awards. Rick has been absorbed in the practical application of technology for many years as a C-level Executive, Business Developer, Systems Integrator/Developer, Senior Project Manager, Educator, and Author.

Tom Feltham - The editor and all-round content master at ERP Focus. Tom has worked to develop the ERP software community online through ERP Focus, the ERP Software Writers’ Awards.
